What I've Become

With everything thats happened,
I have lost myself.
I know who I was,
But i dont know who I am,
What i'm doing here,
Or Where I'm going.

I was a nice girl.
The kind that did things for others,
Without receiving in return.

I gave things away,
Just to see people smile.


Now I yell at those who smile,
And demand payment for my work.

What happened to me?
Who am I?
How can I go back to the days,
When me heart was whole?

I'm on a straight dirt road.
I can see for miles.
But all of a sudden there's a side road,
All winding and bumpy.

Everyone is telling me to stay on the main road,
That short cuts are bad.

The side road looks alot harder to walk down
But it looks so pretty,
With the flowersand animals on the sides.

I tell everyone to shut up
And I headed down the side road.

At once it is so obvious that no one has been down here in a long time.
Being alone is better than following everyone else.

Fire

There's a new fire in my heart
When I see you face
Sparks ignite
When I see your smile
Flames erupt
When you're near
I laugh and smile
But when you're gone
I'm quiet and sad

Spirits

Life changes when you least expect it.
In the blink of an eye you were gone.
It hurt so much,
But i know that you're watching over me
Bodies will disappear but spirits will linger forever,
And yours is with me where ever I go.

Sister to Sister

Best friends never forget each other.
Sisters never leave each other.
Angels never die.

We were sisters before we knew it
And now that we do,
No one can separate us.
Now there's miles between us,
But we're still right beside each other.
We're two bodies,
But one soul.

Living this far apart,
really messes with any kind of relationship.
Someday we'll be eye to eye again,
And I can't wait for that day to come.

Secret Me

Secret me
Always hidden
So afraid to come out of the shadows
Worried about how you'll take it

Worry unnecessary
Knowing you'll still love me
But afraid to see your reaction

I need to tell you
To let you see the real me
I hate keeping secrets from you
But I'm afraid

Darkness

I'm falling into the shadows
Away from the heat of the sun
The darknes is closing in
I can't see
Where am I
How did I get here
The darkness is dragging me under
Suffocatingme
With my last breath
I whisper your name...
Then its done
The darkness won

Looking

Looking through the window
Longing in his eyes
The desire to chase after me
And hold me
And kiss me forever
Fighting against him
The realization
That he will Probably
Never hold me again
Washing over him

Looking back
Into his sorrowful blue eyes
Seeing his thoughts
Feeling his pain
Fighting the desire
To stay there
And kiss him for eternity

I needed him
And he needed me
I loved him
And he loved me

NIght Of Love

My life was dark and lonely
My heart shattered too many times

It felt like the sun would never set
And allow me to live again

But then you flew in
And stole my heart
You were the one I had been looking for
My own personal Angel of Night
Come to take away his Daughter of Darkness
to his Castle on the Moon

Elemental Truth

Air is what we first encounter
Fire is what fills us waiting to spill out when we get angered
Water is what cleanses us
Earth is what directs us
Spirit is what connects us to the Goddess

Air Fire Water Earth and Spirit
All combined
But yet all separate
They make it so we can live
But they can also take a life away in the blink of an eye

Nothing

Your voice haunts my dayd,
And your face haunts my nights.

I ask myself,
Why did I let you in?
Why did'nt I listen to him,
When he said that love only leads to pain?

With just one smile,
You stole my heart,
And it is forever yours.

We were in love,
But then you left.
It shattered my heart,
Into a million peices.

Now I'm sitting under the stars,
trying to remember
How it felt to have your lips on mine.

But nothing comes.
It's been too long.

Just Believe

You think I'm crazy,
Cause I see what you cant see.
You think I'm weird,
Cause I talk to those who you cant hear.
And you think I'm insane,
cause i hang with the dead.

Well I'm not weird,
I'm Not crazy,
And I'm not insane

You could see them too,
if you just looked.
You could talk to them too,
If you just listened.
And you could hang with them too,
If you just believed.

The Wind

The wind is the ultimate friend
Always there and ready to help
It whispers stories in your ear by day
And songs by night
It talks to you when you're lonely
It plays with you when no one else will
It is your only true friend

I’m Sorry

When I looked into your eyes
I saw mine staring back,
But now when I look
All I see is pain and confusion.

Pain from me leaving you,
And Confusion about why I left.

I’m sorry.
I didn’t want to hurt you,
And that’s why I did it.

I can’t stand to think about how you’d act,
If you knew what I thought about when we were together.

It’s not fair to you,
If all I can think about is him.
