Lamia Vampires

Vampires need living blood to live or their own blood cells will refuse to carry oxygen and they will suffocate. A wooden stake in the heart, beheading, or fire will kill a vampire, as will starvation. Sunlight does nothing but weaken their psychic power and strength. Vampires live in enclaves, and rouges live among humans, breaking Night World Law.

Lamia (lay-mee-uh) - born vampires; can give birth and age if desired, decendants of Maya and her son(s). Ruled by the Redfern Family.
